Picturesque

I wonder why these Nike Women advertisements were not used in Singapore. Or did I miss them?

Sexy, confident, no-shit attitude. I Like.

My shoulders aren’t dainty or proportional to my hips. Some say they are like a man’s. I say, leave men out of it. They are mine. I made them in a swimming pool. Then I went to yoga and made my arms.

nike3 081205 big PicturesqueMy butt is big and round like the letter C and ten thousand lunges have made it rounder but not smaller and that’s just fine. It’s a space heater for my side of the bed. It’s my ambassador to those who walk behind me. It’s a border collie that herds skinny women away from the best deals at clothing sales. My butt is big and that’s just fine and those who might scorn it are invited to kiss it.

nike hips PicturesqueMy hips return to puberty when I’m in dance class. Music affects them like hormones making them crazy and spontaneous and optimistic and prone to drama and I don’t understand them and sometimes they don’t understand themselves. When the music stops they’re still charged. Don’t touch me. Sparks will fly.

nike2 081205 big1 PicturesqueMy knees are tomboys. They get bruised and cut every time I play soccer. I’m proud of them and wear my dresses short. My mother worries I will never marry with knees like that. But I know there’s someone out there who will say to me “I love you and I love your knees.” I want the four of us to grow old together.

Nice and tasteful. Kinda reminds me of the doves ads. Why aren’t they in sg?

Doves ads? Which one??? The campaign for real beauty? :) that’s another good one. Check out what happen to the burger king’s 7 inch “it’ll blow your mind away” ad that is slammed with “degradation of morality”. Hilarious response. :p

  3. Ecstasy says:

Yep. You reply like you’re online during all waking hours babe. I love all those levi ads heh

  4. Ecstasy says:

BK 7 inches sounds familiar but too tired to check it out at the moment lol. I’d do 7 degrees of immorality with you anytime

All I could think of is… WOW.
Beautifully done. Great light control bringing out the shapes of the body.

That’s what turns me on about women – the fight to get out of the comfort zone & all.

Gone were the days of women sterotypes like the femme fatale, the supermom, the sex kitten and the nasty corporate climber.
