Sometimes, a minor displeasure between couples can be major.
It makes you wonder:
Why is he behaving in such a manner?
Why is he such an asshole?
What makes him think that he is the greatest in the world and that he can probably get all girls in the world including you?
You can’t wait to wipe that smirk off his face.
You can’t wait to tell him that he’s not as good as he thinks.
You can’t wait to acknowledge the fact that love is not blind at all, because you can easily count all the flaws that he has.
And then you start fantasizing.
You think about how XXX will treat you if you are with him instead.
You think about how you actually have the assets and the character to get a much better guy than to waste your youth on someone like the current.
You think about how life is so short and ponder if you really want to spend the rest of your life with this insensitive bastard.
Yet, the only reason why you are not doing so is because…
You think you can’t bear to break his ego in that manner.
You think for the millionth time that it may be more of your fault than his.
You think that it’s just a ‘night’ thing and it would be over the next day you wake up.
At the end of the day, love is blind, not because you are unaware of his idiotic actions, but because you choose to overlook these nonsense.
It may be called ‘giving’.
It may be called ‘understanding’.
It may be called ‘compromising’.
But I tell you, it’s called love.
Wait. Are you saying that you feel loved when you’re mistreated? So much so when you’re having dangerous thoughts, you’ll still feel loved?
Not really. I’m not saying it’s feeling loved, but that’s when u know u have fallen in love.
