Killed Joy

At 26 years old, I bought my first copy of Playboy as well as Penthouse from a magazine store in NYC.

Flipping through the pages like an excited kid, I was thoroughly… disappointed.

Playboy is actually more content-informative than I thought. And by content, I made serious content. The only potentially sexually appealing parts are merely some naked pictures (which you can easily get 5 million of them off the internet) and some stale sexual jokes that I’ve heard probably when I was 16. *Yawn* Penthouse is only marginally better because they also had a couple of sex stories. Still, I wonder, are these the same content that got my friends horny when they were 12 years old? Like wtf???

I wonder if it’s the free online sexual resources that are causing these print materials to lose their motivation to provide better stuff for the readers. Whatever it is, I took 10 minutes to flip through both magazines, while at the same time, struggling to stay awake and… remain horny.

Didn’t really work after all.

Killed my joy.

Urgh.

Well, when you’re 12 even soft porn feels hardcore…

I think Playboy is just more iconic than anything else anyway

    I LOLed.

If I’m not wrong, FHM is just a stone’s throw away from becoming Playboy.

    Both are equally boring.
